PHIL WHITLOCK from Rhos-on-Sea has been confirmed as the World's number one ranked squash player over-45 after beating a worldwide field to win the British Open Masters title without dropping a single game.
And Llanrwst's John Bailey has became the first Welshman to win crown green bowling's Champion of Champions event at Blackpool.
