Conwy United up to third
CONWY UNITED moved into third place and to within one point of league leaders Glan Conwy in the Pentraeth Honda Welsh Alliance with a 2-1 home win over Llanberis on Thursday night - despite playing for 80 minutes with 10 men.
Adam Noble was sent off after getting two yellow cards in the first 10 minutes, but Conwy led 1-0 at half-time when Callum Vernon scored with a shot from the edge of the area and although Llanberis equalised midway through the second half, Aaron Pritchard hit Conwy's winner with a long range effort with 15 minutes to go.
