Lights go out on Seagulls
COLWYN BAY'S home match against Trafford (Februay24) was abandoned due to a floodlight failure without a ball being kicked.
The lights went out just as the teams were about to kick off and although every effort was made to resolve the problem, the referee made the decision after a 30 minute wait to call the game off.
It means Colwyn Bay have lost their place in the top five to Ossett Albion, who beat Harrogate RA 2-0, although the Seagulls do have two games in hand.
The top four game between Bamber Bridge and Skelmersdale United ended in a 0-0 draw which means Colwyn Bay are five points behind third-placed Bamber Bridge with six games in hand on them.
The Colwyn Bay v Trafford game has now been re-arranged for Tuesday, March 31.
