Sanna back to face Rhyl

By Tim Channon on Dec 14, 09 02:04 PM

COLWYN BAY have goalkeeper Chris Sanna back from suspension in what is likely to be an otherwise unchanged side for Tuesday's rearranged North Wales Coast FA Challenge Cup home tie against Rhyl (7.30pm kick off).
Although Neil Black (hamstring) and Tom McGill (knee) are still sidelined by injury, Carl Clampitt is expected to continue his new defensive partnership with skipper Dave Challinor, despite suffering painful knocks to both shins in last Saturday's 4-0 win over Rossendale.
"Carl is a bit sore, but after a couple of days treatment he expects to be Ok to play," reported manager Neil Young.
Danny Grannon could also be back in the squad after missing the last three games with a knee injury.
Colwyn Bay have also put in seven days for a winger, who Neil Young is planning to talk to later this week.
After two four-goal hauls in their last two league games, which have put the Seagulls clear at the top of the Unibond Division One North table again, Neil is keen to keep the momentum going - although the Bay can expect a much tougher game against a Rhyl side that bounced back to winning ways with a 4-1 win over Welshpool last weekend.
Colwyn Bay: (from) Sanna, Denson, Graves, Clampitt, Challinor, Sheehan, Jebb, Kelly, Sheridan, Rigoglioso, Williams, Davey, Brandreth, Corrigan, Brandreth, Grannon.
In the league, Lancaster City have a rearranged home game against Rossendale on Tuesday and will nudge ahead of Colwyn Bay on goal difference if they win, while Halifax are also in action at home to Wakefield.

Bay missed loads of chances and paid the price for some sloppy finishing.
