'We need to graft out a result,' says Young

COLWYN BAY manager Neil Young is calling on his players to dig deep and graft out a Good Friday victory away to Prescot Cables.
It's a big Easter weekend in the chase for play-off places in the Unibond Division One North, with a full programme of games today and Monday, and Young added: "We could do with six points over Easter to take some of the pressure off us. Prescot is a difficult place to go, with the pitch likely to be very heavy after all the rain, so we need the players to graft out a result for us.
"If they could do that it would give everybody a lift."
Colwyn Bay are currently third in the table, but are under mounting pressure from the three teams immediately below them to hang onto a top five play-off place.
Leigh Genesis play league leaders Lancaster City, so the Bay could do with taking advantage of possible points being dropped there.
Prescot, however, have turned their results around since signing former Seagulls player Karl Brown in January.
Karl and another ex-Bay player, Tom Spearritt, have scored eight goals between them as Prescot, after losing six of their previous eight games, have lost only one of their last five - and that was to title-chasers Lancaster City, who snatched victory with two goals in the last five minutes.
The Seagulls will again be without midfielder Jimmy Kelly (knee), Neil Black (hamstring) and Anthony Lynch (groin), but Adriano Rigoglioso should be fit to return after treatment this week on a swollen ankle and calf.
The club have still not had international clearance through from FIFA to allow them to play 17-year-old striker Ben Jones (signed from Chester City), and Alex Titchiner, who is back on loan from Crewe, is still under treatment for an ankle injury.
"We are in the hands of the Crewe physios with Alex and they say he may have an outside chance of being fit for Monday, but it is more likely to be the following Saturday," added Young.
