Bishop's Stortford match off
COLWYN BAY'S hopes of stretching their unbeaten run in 2012 to seven matches was put on ice when Saturday's home match against Bishop's Stortford (Feb 4th) was called off today (Friday) due to a frozen pitch.
The Hertfordshire side had asked for an early decision as they were planning to travel north today for an overnight stay. Even with the forecast of rain on Saturday morning, the Llanelian Road pitch is frozen so hard the likelihood is that it would still have been unfit for play.
The Seagulls' next scheduled game is at home to Boston United on Tuesday (Feb 7th).
